Required equipment

GuitarGod expects a direct instrument signal. A laptop microphone or Bluetooth headset does not provide the monitored input path the app is built to measure.

First practice flow

Select the interface, confirm input and output, bring the guitar into tune, set a comfortable monitored level, open a starter lesson, record a take, and inspect Session Review. The app keeps the processed monitoring branch separate from the canonical dry recording.

• Do not chase loudness before calibration
• Use the in-app input meter to avoid clipping
• Treat reported latency as setup-specific evidence
• Use panic mute if the monitored path becomes unsafe

Troubleshooting order

Verify physical cabling and interface direct-monitor settings first. Then check device selection, sample-rate compatibility, channel selection, and whether another application owns the device. Diagnostics export is user-initiated and excludes recordings and local paths.
